Laser scanning (LiDAR)

The measurement method using laser scanners (LiDAR) with the highest speed and accuracy.

Application

  • Registration of measurement data, i.e. shape, dimensions, geometry, texture.
  • The main area of activity is architecture and urban planning, but also other areas where the need is to create a "digital twin."

Strengths

  • 90% time and resource savings over traditional methods
  • High precision of measurements (up to 1mm)
  • Scalability of use

Final file

The result of the scan is a point cloud, used in the next phases of the process.

The scanners used comply with IEC 60825-1:2014.

Photogrammetry

Measurement technique using advanced survey cameras, digital cameras and drones. The method is based on a series of images (from ground level and from the air).

Application

It is an excellent complement for areas inaccessible to laser scanners.

  • Speed of data acquisition
  • High visual and structural quality (textures)
  • Relatively low cost
  • Insight into hard-to-reach areas

Final file

Based on photogrammetric measurements, a point cloud is created taking into account the geometry of the object/terrain along with photorealistic textures.
